Sewing machines, like any other machines, need tune-ups and professional servicing from time to time. A frequently-used sewing machine will benefit from routine tuning and servicing—helping the machine run more efficiently with a longer lifespan.
Our service team is made up of in-house skilled technicians who are certified in both PFAFF, Bernina, and Husqvarna Viking service and repairs. Our team is also skilled in the general maintenance of most sewing machine brands. As an added service and convenience for our customers, we offer scissor sharpening. For more information about service and repairs, contact either of our Sew-A-Lot locations.
If you have questions about your machine’s condition, give us a call. We are here to keep your machine working to its full potential! Contact one of our sewing specialists at CENTERVILLE 937.433.7474 · LEXINGTON 859.264.7472

If you’re servicing your sewing machine only, please bring the machine, power cord, foot control, standard presser foot (something we can use to stitch a straight and zigzag stitch), bobbin and bobbin case.
If you’re servicing your combination sewing/embroidery machine, please bring your machine, embroidery unit, power cord, foot control, standard presser foot, embroidery foot, embroidery hoop, bobbin, bobbin case, and design for stitch-out if there is not one already built into your machine.
For servicing Sergers, please bring your machine, standard presser foot, power cord, and foot control. If you would like the machine left threaded, please bring a corresponding number of spools.
We try to make service appointments as convenient as possible! No appointments are needed, just walk in to any Sew-A-Lot location. Machines are repaired in the order they come in for service. At our Lexington location, you are able to call and make an appointment, but there is an additional fee to be moved up in line.
Cost for service really depends on the machine type and service needed.
Lexington and Centerville Sew-A-Lot locations offer machine service and repair.
We always recommend having your machine cleaned and/or service once per year, no matter if you use it daily or not at all. Keeping it clean allows your machine to work to its full potential!
